Three and a quarter hours has lasted the atypical gala of the Oscars 2021, a ceremony somewhat longer than normal, with some rhythm problems and few notable moments outside of some interesting thanks.

This is how Regina King began the night, with a shot showing her entering Union Station, the Los Angeles train station before announcing the first two awards of the night, those for original and adapted screenplay.
