THE RECOVERY BROUGHT IN PARLIAMENT, 'AN EPOCAL PLAN'

Also on Tuesday it will be the turn of the Senate. The green light is not in question, given the very large majority on which Draghi can count. But the premier's speech is equally expected. And the head of the executive, government sources explain,
will first of all appeal to the "underlying philosophy" that innervates the 337 pages of the PNRR
: the challenge is to ensure that once the pandemic is defeated, Italy will grow again.
According to government sources, the Council of Ministers for the definitive yes to the PNRR could fall on Thursday. And, in the same meeting it is not excluded that Draghi tackles the other very hot dossier at the end of April: the business decree called to give new support to the activities closed by the anti-Covid restrictions. A decree that, in the majority, could trigger further tensions after the League's rupture in the CDM on the latest anti-Covid measure.
