Rains were forecast but no one foresaw a storm.
That is why Héctor was encouraged to go to the bus stop with his 3-year-old son.
When the weather changed, he decided to go back to his house in Merlo and ask for a patch.
On the way back, a tree fell and killed him.
His name was
Héctor Javier González Lizárraga
, he was 30 years old and currently made a living working in a greengrocer in the City of Buenos Aires.
His son was
miraculously
saved
.
The tragedy occurred on the last Friday, April 23, around 7:00 p.m. on Nicaragua Street, in the town of
Libertad
, and Hector's relatives are in pain.

It was the relatives of the victim who delivered to the portal

In dialogue with
Primer Plano
, Micaela, the mother of Héctor's son, described what happened seconds before the tragedy.
"The storm
cut some cables
from a light pole, made sparks and then Hector manages to come out on the right, for fear of the rays produced by the pole," said the woman.
It was at that moment that the tree crushed father and son.
According to Micaela, Héctor "
died on the spot
."
And he said that his son and father "were trapped."

It was the neighbors who helped them, especially the little boy "who
had his father hugged,
as if protecting him," the mother described.
The baby was rushed to the San Juan Bautista clinic in the town of Libertad: he suffered
fractures of the tibia and fibula

, in good health and in his grandparents' house in Libertad," explained Héctor's relatives, who worked in a greengrocer in Caballito.
