A small plane crashed on a beach in Sydney, Australia.
This is reported, among other things, by the Australian news agency Australian Associated Press.
A 26-year-old pilot and his 30-year-old wife were on board with their one-year-old child.
All were unharmed, as the broadcaster ABC reports.
The pilot apparently had to make an emergency landing because the engine had failed.
At Collaroy Beach in a northern suburb of Sydney, the tide had just been low, so that the pilot had plenty of space to land the single-engine »Tecnam P2008«, according to ABC.
Since it is autumn in Australia and the temperatures are cool, there were hardly any people on the beach.
"Otherwise the landing could have ended in disaster," said David Stubbs from the ambulance service.
