Gone are the days when the country house was the poor relation of the real estate market.
While prices are stagnating or trending down in most major cities, rural housing has completed a record year 2020 and the trend is still going strong.

According to the study by the Société d'aménagement foncier etablissement rural (Safer), the market for houses in the countryside (those sold with a plot of less than 5 hectares) saw an increase in the number of houses last year. 6.6% transactions (to 111,930 sales).
For its part, their total value jumped 12.1% while the area increased by 9%.
This euphoria is confirmed by Patrice Besse: the real estate network in his name, specializing in rural properties with character, is taking full advantage of this trend.
