In the USA, the "Lucifer" fans get to see the finale of the 5th season now.
German Prime Video users will have to wait a little longer.
Fans of
"Lucifer"
had to go through a lot.
The series has already been saved from premature cancellation twice.
Originally the story was supposed to end after the 3rd season.
Netflix wanted to pull the rip cord after the finale of the 5th season *.
The streaming service was convinced one last time: After the planned 6th season, it will officially end.
So the fans still have some time - but the story is slowly coming to an end.
In the US, the second half of Season 5 will be released on Netflix on May 28, 2021.
In this country, the broadcasting rights are with Amazon Prime Video.
This has one disadvantage: German viewers cannot access the latest episodes at the same time as the US premiere.
Instead, they have to wait a little longer.
"Lucifer": When will the second half of Season 5 appear on Amazon Prime Video?
The good news is that the wait will be very short.
On May
29, 2021,
Amazon
will
bring users eight brand new "Lucifer" episodes.
So fans only have to avoid all spoilers on the internet for one day.
Before the start of the second half, the makers gave hardly any information about the season finale anyway.
The only thing that is certain is that the argument between Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and his twin brother will continue.
In addition, Lucifer's father God (Dennis Haysbert) should also play a more important role in the course of the story.
In any case, there are first insights in the trailer for the new episodes (see above).

It is currently clear that fans can
look forward
to
ten more episodes
before the story ends.
But there is no official start date yet.
However, viewers should expect to have to wait at least another year.
If the corona pandemic causes problems again, publication could be delayed even longer.
