(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 28 - First take of Bones & All, the new film by Luca Guadagnino, the first set in the United States.
It stars Timothée Chalamet (who returns to work with Guadagnino after the success of "Call me by your name" and who will later be Willy Wonka), Taylor Russell, Mark Rylance, André Holland, Jessica Harper, Michael Stuhlbarg, David Gordon-Green, FrancescaScorsese and Chloë Sevigny.
Deadline gives a preview of it, confirmed to ANSA by the Italian producers.
The film, a teen author, based on the book by CamilleDeAngelis and written by David Kajganich ("Suspiria", "A BiggerSplash"), is a Frenesy Film Company and Per CapitaProductions production. Produced, among others, by Luca Guadagnino and MarcoMorabito for Frenesy Film Company, Lorenzo Mieli for TheApartment Pictures, of the Fremantle group, Francesco Melzi d'Erile Gabriele Moratti for Memo. The executive producers are Giovanni Corrado and Raffaella Viscardi. As Deadline reports, Ilfilm tells the story of a first love, the one that brings Maren, a young woman who learns to survive the fringes of society, and Lee, an outcast wanderer with a fighting soul, to join together and embark on an odyssey of hundreds of kilometers in the America by Ronald Reagan, among hatches, secret passages and provincial streets.However, no matter how hard they try, any road seems to take them back to their tremendous past, until the final moment that will decide whether their love affair can really survive their being other than the world around them.
The film is entirely financed by Italian companies: TheApartment (a company of the Fremantle group), 3 Marys, Memo, TenderStories, Adler, Elafood, Elafilm, Manila, Serfis and Wise.
