(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 07 - The new Chinese birth control rules could cut between 2.6 and 4.5 million births among the Uighurs and other ethnic minorities in Xinjiang within the next 20 years.
This was revealed by the exclusive Reuters on its website citing the study of a German researcher, Adrian Zenz.
The data of the report already show a substantial decline in the region, estimated at a minus 48.7% between 2017 and 2019. (ANSA).
