(ANSA) - LIMA, June 10 - The right-wing candidate in the presidential elections in Peru, Keiko Fujimori, has asked the country's electoral court to cancel 200,000 votes: her party has announced it.
Fujimori, beaten for about 74,000 votes by his left-handed rival Pedro Castillo, asked the court to cancel the result in 802 polling stations, equal to about 200,000 votes.
A few hours ago Castillo proclaimed himself the winner of the elections, with 99.82% of the ballots scrutinized.
