: "You should avoid being near trees because falling leaves pollute the water," says landscape architect Daniela Toman.

with no sharp parts in the ground

.
If you want to put the pool on a lawn, you should peel it beforehand, says Toman.
In any case, a protective film should be placed under the pool to prevent damage to the bottom from roots and stones.
"A building permit is not required because it is not a stable object," says Hans Schröder from the Association of Private Builders (VPB).
Also think about safety and the power connection
You should make sure that children splashing around are under constant supervision, advises Toma: "These pools can be up to 120 centimeters deep, which is especially dangerous for smaller children."
The property - and the pool - should not be freely accessible.
"Otherwise the property owner is liable if someone is harmed in the water," said Pommer.
It is also important to cover the unused pool so that no wild animals fall into it.
Most Quick Up Pools come with a

Inquire about water disposal requirements before filling
As soon as the plastic basin is filled with water, it stands up automatically.
"The pools have to be absolutely horizontal, the principle of the self-supporting edge no longer works on an inclined plane," says Hans Schröder.

Patience is required when filling - larger Quick Up Pools need a water volume of around 15 to 20 cubic meters.
"For one filling, the annual water bill of a family of four could be ten percent higher than usual."
Even when setting up, you should make sure that the water can easily drain off again later: "It's hard to pull the stopper and flood your garden," says Schröder.
So it is better to inquire beforehand whether there are any requirements for water disposal.
