Everything is ready for the Bianca d'Aponte Award: on 14 and 15 July in Aversa there will be the final of the 16th edition of the only Italian contest reserved for songwriters, initially scheduled for October 2020 and then postponed due to the health emergency.
The godmother will be Arisa who in the final evening will interpret 'Cantico dei mad' by Bianca d'Aponte, the prematurely deceased singer-songwriter to whom the event is dedicated, along with some of her songs.
She is also responsible for presiding over the jury.
In the race there will be Bambi from Naples, Simona Boo from Termoli, Ebbanesis from Naples, Lamante from Piovene Rocchette, La Zero from Piano di Sorrento, Lucrezia from Bologna, Elena Romano from Florence, Sara Romano from Monreale, Veronica da Aversa, Chiara White from Florence.
Cristiana Verardo, winner of the competition in the last edition, will open the two evenings, while on July 14 the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare will also take the stage, which will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the City of Aversa. Giuseppe Anastasi, Bungaro, Alfina Scorza and Brunella Selo will perform together with them. On July 15 at 4.30 pm at the Bianca d'Aponte Auditorium there will be room for a meeting with the finalists. In the evening, in addition to Arisa, the A'67, Patrizia Laquidara and Têtes de Bois will take the stage as guests. The conduct of the two evenings is entrusted to Carlotta Scarlatto and Ottavio Nieddu, while some of the finalists will be accompanied by the band coordinated and directed by Alessandro Crescenzo. All with the artistic direction of Ferruccio Spinetti.
It will also be possible to follow the two evenings in streaming on the Facebook page of the Bianca d'Aponte Award and on the 15th on that of Rai Radio 1, media partner.
