"At the G20 there is consensus that the Green Pass is a useful tool to push and promote vaccination, beyond the legal discussions on whether or not to require vaccination".
This is confirmed by Lorenzo Casini, head of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Culture on the sidelines of the G20 of Culture at Palazzo Barberini.
"It is clear that the greater the use of the Green pass, the greater the drive towards vaccination. At the G20 there was no dispute over this. In terms of the G20 this aspect is more linked to tourism and the exchange of visitors than to culture", concludes.
"A dramatic situation emerges from our latest international surveys: as of today, over 60% of museums are still closed. In Italy the situation is much better, but in the world it is like that". This was stated by Alberto Garlandini, president of the ICOM international Council of Museums in one of the thematic focuses of the G20 on Culture underway at Palazzo Barberini. Lorenzo Casini, head of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Culture, confirms that in Italy the situation of museum openings has returned to pre-Covid levels: "The problem is still the number of people who manage to go but slowly we managed to reopen" .
