(ANSA) - WARSAW, AUG 10 - Earthquake in the Polish government: Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki expelled his deputy and development minister Jaroslaw Gowin who in turn announced that his Alliance party will leave the executive. The shock came after Gowin's party opposed the tax reform of Kaczynski's Pis and the tightening on private media that foresees only a minority presence for foreign investors.
The law, which also affects TVN, will be submitted to parliament tomorrow. In defense of free media, demonstrations are taking place in 90 cities in Poland. Former President of the European Council Donald Tusk also spoke in Warsaw, under the seat of parliament, welcomed by the enthusiasm of those present. (HANDLE).
