The data was published by the Ministry of Health this afternoon, hours after the second death from the Delta variant of the virus was confirmed.
This is
a 38-year

old woman from
Córdoba, who was a close contact with patient zero of this mutation in the province.
Currently there are

with the disease with a confirmed diagnosis, of which
3,226
are admitted to
intensive care
.
The occupation of critical beds for all pathologies is

The Delta variant
The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, spoke about the situation of the Delta variant after the first fatal cases were known in the country.
In radio statements, he affirmed that "to date it is not yet predominant, but
it is already close to being a community
".
He also specified that "in Córdoba and in the city of Buenos Aires
there are some cases that have no relationship between them
. Especially in Córdoba, which had not found a link with a traveler."

This Monday the death of a 38-year-old woman in Córdoba, the second fatal victim by Delta in the country, was confirmed.
He had been infected by being close contact of the "zero patient", 62, who had traveled to Peru and did not fulfill the isolation upon returning to the country.
The man passed away on Sunday.
