The US actor Michael Nader, known from "The Denver Clan" and other TV series, is dead. His wife Jodi Lister Nader told the MFTV TV channel that he died of cancer on Monday in his home in Northern California.
His team of speakers confirmed the death of the industry service "Hollywood Reporter".
The actor was 76 years old.
At the beginning of his TV career in the 1970s, Nader appeared in the soap opera "As the World Turns".
He had his best-known role from 1983 in the hit series "The Denver Clan" (English title "Dynasty") as Farnsworth "Dex Dexter", the lover and then third husband of Alexis (Joan Collins).
Nader starred in over 150 episodes by the end of the series in 1989.
In the 1990s he was in front of the camera for the soap opera "All my Children".
