Forty-eight billion and 500 million dollars in transfers in the last decade (at the current exchange rate 41 billion euros), with Europe covering the largest part and five Italian clubs in the top 30 of expenses
: these are some of the indications of a fifa report, conducted on the transfer market of 8,264 clubs, with a total of 66,789 players moved and 200 federations affiliated to FIFA involved. The top 30 clubs in terms of spending are all European, the English ones dominate (12), then Spain and Italy with 5 each (Juventus, Inter, Rome, Milan and Naples are present for Serie A). There are three German clubs, two each for France and Portugal, while only one is Russian. Furthermore, it should be noted that the decline in training premiums is in stark contrast to the amount of commissions paid to agents, which went from $ 131.1 million in 2011 to $ 640.5 million in 2019.
