(ANSA) - NEW ORLEANS, AUGUST 30 - The death of a second person has been confirmed due to hurricane Ida which devastated Louisiana. However, state governor John Bel Edwards fears that the budget is "noticeably" heavier, according to local media.
Thousands of men are working to bring relief to those affected by the calamity. While New Orleans was spared from the worst thanks to the levee system built after Hurricane Katrina, the communities to the west and above the city were completely destroyed by the storm.
