(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 01 SEPT - The law that prohibits abortion after the sixth week, the most stringent in America, comes into force in Texas.
The ban becomes effective after the Supreme Court has not ruled on the emergency request of hospitals and supporters of abortion rights, who had asked it to block it.
The law states that you cannot proceed with an abortion if you are able to detect the heartbeat.
