(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 01 - If the EMA or the national health agencies deem a third dose necessary, the EU is ready thanks to its large production capacities. This is the message of the EU Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, who, speaking to journalists, rejected the WHO's criticisms on the rush of rich countries to administer a booster dose while poor ones are still waiting for primivaccines.
To prove useful, booster doses would have to be given "six months" after completion of the cyclovaccination, Breton said, adding that he expects the practice to spread across Europe. (HANDLE).
