The "pink stalls", that is the parking spaces reserved for pregnant women, enter the Highway Code and increase the penalties for those who occupy the reserved parking spaces without authorization.
These are two of the main innovations introduced by the Infrastructure Decree approved by the Council of Ministers.
In particular, the decree provides for a strengthening of the penalties for those who occupy the pink stalls and other reserved parking spaces without being authorized: for example, the fines for those who park in the spaces reserved for people with disabilities are doubled and the new penalty will be between 168 and 672 EUR.
