What the security cameras of the Concordia hotel in Barcelona did not record about the way in which the Argentine

The Argentine is accused of having suffocated his baby in room 704 of the Concordia hotel, on Avinguda del Parallel in Barcelona, on August 24.
Since then, the Catalan police -the Mossos d'Esquadra- and the national police have been searching for him by raking the Montjuic area and the surroundings of Barcelona's El Prat airport where, according to the version of a taxi driver who claims to have left him in Terminal 1,
he lose all trace

The hotel's security cameras, however,
recorded the moment when Alvarez left the room
, where the body of his two-year-nine-month-old son was later found under the bed.
He would have murdered him to punish his wife, from whom he had separated, at her will, a few days ago.
"You're going to regret it," he
had threatened her when she left the apartment on Arizala street that they shared in the Sants Badal neighborhood of Barcelona.
As the police learned later, he had also intimidated her by saying that he would commit suicide.
Alvarez's last message to his ex was heartbreaking: "I'll leave you at the hotel what you deserve," he wrote.
The woman alerted the police and ran to the hotel, but the pediatric ambulance that came to rescue the baby could not save him.
When the ambulance arrived, Alvarez was no longer there.
Another camera, on one side of
the pool in which the Argentine spent part of the afternoon
of August 24 with his son, filming him and taking photos of him, captured the last image of the fugitive: the one in which he is seen keeping the cell phone in the left pocket of his jean and, wearing a gray T-shirt and red New Balance sneakers, jump over the wall of the pool that adjoins the building next door, over Carrer de la Concòrdia, the side street.

Through there you enter the parking lot of the Concordia hotel and, three floors higher, is the pool.
The hotel's car park overlooks a triangular square, the Plaça del Setge from 1714, on which the clients of the Bodega Linares drink in the open air in these last days of European summer.
"I was inside the premises but two boys who were outside saw him hanging down from the balconies of the building next to the hotel," says the owner of the winery, a Paraguayan who has been in Spain for 18 years.
"They saw him go from balcony to balcony through three buildings and then cling to a gas pipe and go down," reconstructs Anselmo, the owner of the bar.
Until at one point he fell backwards.
