(ANSA) - ROME, 02 SEPT - The toll of floods caused by the tail of Hurricane Ida in the north-east of the United States has increased to at least 10 victims, including a two-year-old child: compared to the previous count, this is four more deaths , three of them in New York City and one in the State of Virginia.

According to reports from the New York Times, which cites the city police, in New York City (NYC) there are so far at least seven, between the ages of 2 and 66.

Added to these are, in addition to the Virginia victim, one death in New Jersey and another in Maryland.
