Scientists working with Zijun Wang, including from Rockefeller University in New York, had found that in former Covid 19 patients who were not vaccinated after their illness, surprisingly high antibody levels were still detectable after six to twelve months.
According to the researchers, patients who had received an mRNA vaccination after surviving the disease could look forward to an even better immune response - which was also effective against virus variants classified as questionable, according to the PZ.
