The fifth edition of the Neri Pozza National Literature Prize is also being streamed with the announcement of the winner on Friday 10 September.

As usual, the ceremony will be hosted by the Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza: the five finalists, designated on 12 July, will be present at the evening, during which the jury's votes will be read and the winner will be elected who will win 25 thousand euros and the publication of the work by the publishing house.

The finalists competing for the prize are Enrica Aragona with Where the sea becomes sky, Luca Illetterati with Something always remains, almost nothing, Luca Saltini with Fino al confine, Pierpaolo Vettori with A thin man and Stefano Amato with Krujë's candle that wins the prize for the under 35 category. The evening at the Olympic Theater will be conducted by Chiara Piotto, a journalist for Sky, and will have Silvio Orlando as a guest who, accompanied by the Terra Madre Orchestra conducted by Simone Campa, will perform in a performance from the play La vita prima per se, from the novel of the same name by Romain Gary.

The novelty of this 5th edition is the possibility even for those who will not be at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza to follow the ceremony in live streaming on the Facebook page of Neri Pozza and on the digital channels of Il Giornale di Vicenza, L'Arena and Bresciaoggi. The evening will be broadcast live on ANSA.it, media partner of the event, and on the website and Facebook page of the Circolo dei Lettere di Milano.

The award, sponsored by the Province and the Municipality of Vicenza, is promoted by Confindustria Vicenza and has the support of BPER Banca. The youth section is organized in collaboration with Il Circolo dei Lettere of Milan directed by Laura Lepri.
