(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, 11 SEPT - The two arrested this morning by Israeli security forces are Zakaria Zubeidi - former commander in Jenin (West Bank) of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, military wing of Fatah - and Mohammed Aradeh (39 years old), brother younger than Mahmoud captured last night.
The two were found by the police and the Shin Bet (Internal Security Service) in Umm al-Ghanam, an Arab town in the north while they were among an olive grove and a truck park. Zubeidi, protagonist of the Second Intifada and prominent figure in the Territories, according to the media, resisted but was overwhelmed by the security forces. (ANSA).
