(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 31 - Sudanese demonstrators protesting against the military who carried out a coup have erected barricades with stones and tires in the middle of several streets of Khartoum, in the aftermath of the violent repression of yesterday's demonstrations, which saw dozens of thousands of people take to the streets across the country.
At least three people were killed and over a hundred injured in demonstrations, according to medical sources: the people killed were hit by bullets, they said.
Since the beginning of the protests, at least 11 people have died in the clashes.
Militaries deny having fired.
