(ANSA) - BRASILIA, 04 NOV - After having confused the name of the US special representative for climate John Kerry with the American actor Jim Carrey, the Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro renamed Matteo Salvini in "Salvati" after meeting him in Italy on the sidelines of the G20.
"Salvati was also there, I think he was prime minister of Italy and now a senator," said Bolsonaro, speaking with a group of supporters in Brasilia about the meeting in Pistoia with the leaders of the League.
Salvini was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior between 2018 and 2019, never head of government.
