Aschersleben: 14-year-old is said to have killed young people

The body of a 14-year-old was found in a garage yard on Wednesday: A youth of the same age is now suspected of having killed her. The district court has issued an arrest warrant.

After the body was found in Aschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt, the police identified a suspect.

The police in Magdeburg announced that the 14-year-old had been issued an arrest warrant on suspicion of manslaughter and that the Magdeburg district court had approved a corresponding application by the public prosecutor.

The young person comes to a youth institution in custody.

Originally, the police had two 14-year-olds in their sights, but the other suspect was released from police custody due to a lack of urgent suspicion.

Meeting with ex-boyfriend on disappearance day?

The 14-year-old victim was missing for almost a week.

On Wednesday, the dead body of the youth was found dead in Aschersleben.

The body was discovered in a garage complex.

The police are investigating with a special commission.

Details about the crime and the alleged perpetrator are still unclear.

The investigators do not want to provide any further information given the age of the suspect.

The "Bild" newspaper reported that the girl's ex-boyfriend was suspected.

There is no confirmation of this.

One thing is clear: on the day of her disappearance, the young person wanted to meet her ex-boyfriend to hand over personal items.

Her parents later reported her missing.
