The Repsol Honda MotoGp Team will not field a replacement for Marc Marquez in next weekend's Valencia Grand Prix.
The Spaniard - who will also miss the Jerez tests - had already had to give up the Portuguese GP after a crash during an off-road training that gave him a new diplopia episode (double vision).
Pol Espargaro, with 100 tenth points in the overall standings, will therefore race alone.
"First of all - explains the 30-year-old - I want to wish Marc all the best in this difficult moment and I hope he can recover soon and well. His absence will obviously be felt on the track, but we arrive in Valencia still motivated to do our job. It's a circuit that I really like, I got my first podium in MotoGP in 2018 and I think we can do well there this year.
