According to a survey, many young employees fear that working from home could have a negative impact on their careers.
As a result of the
corona pandemic *,
numerous employees are
now at least partially more often working from home.
In many cases it works without a hitch.
However, not everyone likes working in the home office equally well.
Some lack colleagues and the personal approach that is known in the office, more - and others less.
Home office versus office - survey on behalf of LinkedIn
A survey conducted by Censuswide on behalf of
LinkedIn found
that many
young workers are
eager
to return to the office.
For example, 48 percent in the age group between 16 and 24 years of age said that they prefer the office as a place to work, as the German Press Agency (dpa) reported on the survey, for the more than 1,000 people in Germany who were in Office work at the age of 16 and over were surveyed.
Of all those surveyed, however, only around 29 percent said they prefer the office as a workplace, as dpa further describes.
Around 23 percent wanted to work from home, while almost 48 percent preferred the hybrid variant.

Home office survey: Many young employees fear career brakes
According to the dpa, almost 37 percent of young employees stated that they feared that working from home was associated with a negative stigma.
However, around 39 percent of all respondents could not agree with this statement, the report said.
Above all, the survey reveals the concerns of many young employees.
Around 50 percent in the age group of 16 to 24-year-olds stated that working from home could have a
negative impact on their careers
.
Reasons for this, as stated in a communication on the survey, are both the assumption that this means that they have
less contact with their superiors
and
are
ignored
by them,
for example during
promotions
, and the lack of opportunities to learn from colleagues.
