Mastro Panettone: Campania and Lombardy win

(HANDLE) (ANSA) - ROME, NOV 16 - The best Christmas leavened products 2021 are from Benevento, Ariano Irpino (Avellino) and Palazzolo sull'Oglio (Brescia). The result emerges with the awarding of the fifth edition of "Mastro Panettone", a competition organized by Goloasi .it (portal of patisseries and ice cream shops) which decrees the best artisan panettone and pandoro of the year. (ANSA) - ROME, NOV 16 - The best Christmas leavened products 2021 are from Benevento, Ariano Irpino (Avellino) and Palazzolo sull'Oglio (Brescia). The result emerges with the awarding of the fifth edition of "Mastro Panettone", a competition organized by Goloasi .it (portal of patisseries and ice cream shops) which decrees the best artisan panettone and pandoro of the year.

The final of the competition took place at the Hotel Excelsior in Bari in the presence of the finalists and live streaming on the contest's social channels.



The victory in the category "Best traditional artisan panettone" was won by FrancescoFiore's panettone (Francesco Fiore Lievitati - Benevento), followed in second place by that of Antonio Caputo (Antonio CaputoPasticcere - Altamura - Bari) and in third place by that of DavidRossi (Luna Pastry - Rieti). In the category "Migliorpanettone creative artisan chocolate" to win the first step of the podium was the panettone of PompilioGiardino (Panificio Pompilio - Ariano Irpino - Avellino), followed by that of Guido Sparaco (Pasticceria Sparaco - CastelMorrone - Caserta) and that of Riccardo Manduca (Only from Manduca - Aprilia - Latina). Triumphing in the "Best artisan Pandoro" category was Oscar Pagani (Non SoloPane - Palazzolo sull'Oglio - Brescia),followed by Pasquale and Giuseppe Bevilacqua (Pasticceria Mamma Grazia - Nocera Superiore- Salerno) and by Domenico and Antonio Manfredi (Pasticceria D'Elia- Teggiano - Salerno). The prize was awarded to the "Best Packaging", for the first time decreed by the popular jury, made up of food and image experts, which awarded the tin can of Fumagalli Pasticceria panettone.
