Thousands of apparently authentic Green Passes available online in a well-known file sharing platform and downloadable by anyone, with the serious risk that they could be manipulated or marketed.
Given the gravity and danger of this illegal dissemination of particularly delicate personal data, the Guarantor for the protection of personal data has urgently launched an investigation to ascertain the ways in which these data have ended up online and has mandated the Special Unit for the Protection of Privacy and Technological Fraud of the Guardia di Finanza to acquire the archives online and ascertain their origin.
