About 200 protesters in Portland, Oregon took to the streets last night in protest against the acquittal of young Kyle Rittenhouse for the murder of two people during an anti-racist protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the Last year.
According to the Guardian, the demonstrators broke through the windows of some shops and threw objects at the police.
The authorities spoke of "violent and destructive behavior on the part of a significant section of the crowd".
The agents tried to disperse the demonstrators by threatening them with megaphones to use force and by midnight most of them had abandoned the protest.
