F1: Abu Dhabi; Verstappen wins GP and world title

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 12 - Max Verstappen on Red Bull won the Abu Dhabi GP and his first Formula 1 world title.

   Second came Lewis Hamilton, overtaken by the Dutch on the last lap after the safety car entered when the British was largely in the lead.

In third place went Carlos Sainz with Ferrari, who preceded Vallteri Bottas in Mercedes, fourth, Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly with AlphaTauri, Lando Norris, seventh with McLaren, Fernando Alonso with Alpine, eighth, Esteban Ocon, with Alpine , ninth and tenth Charles Leclerc, with Ferrari.
