(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 12 DEC - A secret cell of the US special forces, in the course of the fight against Isis in Syria, launched tens of thousands of emissile bombs between 2014 and 2019, illegally evading standard procedures and staging even civilians .
The New York Times reports it, quoting military and intelligence sources.
Called TalonAnvil, the cell consisted of no more than 20 elements and took orders not from the Pentagon but from lower-profile figures within the Delta Force.
