(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, 12 DEC - A 68-year-old man was overwhelmed and killed by a pirate car this morning in Cagliari.
The incident took place in via Bacaredda at 7 am. The dynamics are not yet clear. Municipal police officers intervened on the spot.
From what is known, the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a white car.
The driver did not stop after the impact.
Immediate request for help and the arrival of the 118 ambulance and the local police, coordinated by Commander Guido Calzia.
Unfortunately for the 68-year-old there was nothing to do.
The local police are on the hunt for the driver.
