This is exactly what happened to one mother who shared on Facebook a seemingly innocent picture of her one-year-old baby room.

The Australian mother uploaded to a popular Facebook group a picture of the pink room with a wall shaped like a cupcake and waited for compliments, but instead suffered an attack and was even accused of neglect - just because of the bed in this room, or rather the lack of a bed.

In the picture you can see a small pink mattress on the floor, instead of a standard baby crib.

The girl who answers there April explained that she organized the Montessori-style bedroom, a method named after the Italian doctor and educator Maria Montessori and designed to allow children to express their natural way of life and by placing the mattress on the floor it allows the baby to move around the room and use imagination.

She also added that the baby does not usually sleep on this mattress, but rather sleeps with her in bed and uses her room only for naps or games.

But her reasoned argument did not really convince all the followers and most of them thought it was a bad idea.

Some accused her of neglect and some thought she was endangering the girl's health by putting a mattress on the floor, where there was not enough oxygen.

One of the followers wrote to her: "This mattress should be on a base, it is not healthy to breathe on the floor, because there are bacteria and mold there."

April was overwhelmed by the negative reactions her post drew and explained that this mattress is on a board and not on the floor.

"Such beds lying on the floor are common in the world," she wrote, "and just because in the Western world this is not the norm, does not mean it is wrong. If you want to complain to the authorities about neglect, tag me and I will give you my details because it is clearly not neglect. ".
