2021-12-13T18:16:20.707Z

The immense success of Fortnite is still alive today and it remains one of the most popular games on the planet. Whether on PC, con

Fortnite has been a social phenomenon for years. The game from Epic Games is both an essential Battle Royale for millions of players but it is also a place of sharing, at the limit of the social network in which users come together as much for the game as for communicating. It is also an environment where various interactive events are organized, such as concerts for example. A hell of a fate for a title which, originally, had not raised the crowds with an overly classic main mode called "Save the world". In short, the Fortnite Battle Royale version is not about to surrender and its popularity is still as cheeky. Available on most media, it is also a game very popular with smartphone owners. Our selection will allow you to choose the phone compatible with Fortnite that meets your expectations as well as your budget.

Asus plays the performance card with the Snapdragon 888 processor and 8 GB of RAM.

Gaming in general, and Fortnite in particular, is therefore totally at ease.

    What about the screen?

It's all good there again with the use of AMOLED technology on a 5.9 inch (12.7 centimeter) panel.

Fluidity is also required thanks to a frequency of 120Hz.

This Asus Zenfone 8 is therefore responsive and has no shortage of arguments.

The battery, on the other hand, can withstand the shock for a day.

Nothing very exceptional at this level but it remains quite honest.

    • A good price-performance ratio

    • The 120Hz AMOLED screen

    • Great audio performance

    • Heats a little too much for the most demanding games and apps

We (rightly) praise the excellent value for money of the Poco F3 above.

With the POCO X3 Pro, Xiaomi offers an even cheaper alternative.

Mid-range, of course, but with solid arguments.

If the screen can obviously not compete with that of the Poco F3, we are nevertheless in the presence of a panel of 6.67 inches Full HD and clocked at 120Hz.

What to have a rendering more than honest in terms of colors and contrasts.

On the performance side, there is cause for celebration and it remains very correct with 6 GB of RAM.

Fortnite is indeed running very well, which makes this model a reasonable investment.

    • Nice performance considering the price

    • The battery can last a good day

    • Fluid images thanks to 120Hz

    • Not as efficient as the Poco F3

The greatest strength of the Poco F3 comes from its price / quality ratio.

Indeed, for a smartphone of this price, the performance is quite high, enough in any case to play with all the required comfort.

A big thank you to the Snapdragon 870 processor and the 8 GB of RAM which are really efficient.

As for the screen, we are here in the presence of a 6.67-inch AMOLED model running at 120 Hz and which displays very beautiful contrasts, as well as colors in all respects superb.

We will also note a very good autonomy which can be pushed beyond a day of use.

    • A beautiful 120 Hz AMOLED screen

    • The quality / price ratio, impressive

    • Generous autonomy

    • No jack

    • No microSD port

Equipped with a curved screen of 6.8 inches (15.24 centimeters), set at 120Hz and delivering a WQHD definition, the Xiaomi Mi 11 exhibits in fact pronounced contrasts and a magnificent brightness.

What to pay tribute to the colorful artistic direction of Fortnite.

In terms of performance, the essential Snapdragon 888 (coupled with 8 GB of RAM) is once again wreaking havoc and is so well used here that this smartphone can boast of being one of the most powerful on the market.

In terms of autonomy, we are in the good average with a day of use without too many worries.

Note that the sound reproduction of the speakers is particularly qualitative.

    • The curved screen WQHD at 120Hz

    • A monster of power

    • High quality speakers

    • The software interface is a little less clear than the competition

This is undoubtedly one of the most surprising smartphones in terms of design.

Rather futuristic with its gaming-oriented lines and its small 1.5-inch screen placed on the back of the device (to display alerts and animations), the Asus ROG Phone 5 stands out above all as an excellent phone compatible with Fortnite.

In terms of handling, the AirTrigger 5 system provides additional controls (on the back of the device) and more than appreciable ergonomics.

The powerful Snapdragon 888 processor is also part of the celebration, supported by 8 GB of RAM.

As for the 6.7-inch AMOLED screen (which improves OLED technology), it provides a very powerful visual rendering.

    • The AirTrigger 5 system

    • A superb AMOLED display

    • Good autonomy (about a day)

    • The design won't appeal to everyone

What jumps out at the first contact with the OnePlus 9 Pro is the quality of its 6.7-inch (about 15 centimeters) curved screen.

Beautiful finishes, colors and contrasts at the top, as much to say that it is a treat for the photos, the videos and, especially, the video games.

This model actually has everything you need to run Fortnite in the best conditions.

In terms of power, we are also at the top of the basket with the Snapdragon 888 processor and 12 GB of RAM.

The other aspects of the beast are of the same ilk: many features, good battery life and fast charging.

    • One of the most beautiful screens on the market

    • A beautiful on-board power

    • Autonomy around 24 hours

    • No jack

    • No microSD port

The Lenovo brand also wants to make its voice heard in the field of gaming, and offers us with the Legion Duel a phone fully compatible with Fortnite.

And we must admit that the setting is rather luxurious for the most famous of Battle Royale.

Indeed, the device draws a 6.65-inch AMOLED screen with a frequency of 144 Hz, which does not run the streets.

And with 12GB of RAM, the Legion Duel shows no signs of fatigue.

The icing on the cake: autonomy that can cover up to two days thanks to a double battery.

    • The 144Hz AMOLED screen

    • High performance autonomy

    • Calibrated for a great gaming experience

    • A template a bit imposing

Embellished with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen at 120Hz frequency, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G delivers superb image rendering.

    On that, it's impeccable.

In terms of on-board power, it's not bad either with the presence of an Exynos 2100 processor (supported by 12 or 16 GB of RAM, depending on the model).

It's a little less flamboyant than with the Snapdragon 888 but it remains very convincing despite everything.

You just have to take into account that on Fortnite (since this is the subject that interests us here) the 60 images per second is not the most stable.

    • A screen that throws

    • Very nice overall design

    • No microSD port

    • Jack socket for absent subscribers

    • The 60 frames per second on Fortnite are not always guaranteed (too bad, given the price of the phone)

Red Magic 6S Pro smartphone, Nubia

Do you need WiFi access to play Fortnite on your phone?

Now that you are all set to do battle in the colorful world of Fortnite, this fateful question arises: what type of connection to use?

    Wifi or telephone network?

Both actually work but the choice depends on your installation.

At home, if your internet connection holds up, go through Wifi.

If your home connection is on the other hand rather fragile, switch to your mobile network to see if it goes better.

But WiFi is really a priority in the majority of cases.

Obviously, outside the home, your 4G or 5G connection will take over.
