Today, the Veterinarians Syndicate, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, honored 57 male and female students who excelled in the basic and secondary education certificates from the sons of veterinarians in various governorates for the academic year 2020-2021, at the “Like” Institute in Damascus.
Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, stressed during his speech the importance of the excellence that students achieve during their studies despite the difficult circumstances that their country is going through, pointing out that “this honor, which is taking place for the first time at the level of Syria, is a very important work and will give an incentive to all the sons of doctors of this profession to work diligently to be Distinguished and superior.”
The head of the Syndicate of Veterinarians, Dr. Iyad Al-Suwaidan, stressed the union’s keenness to continue this excellence and distinction for students, which is an extension of the excellence of their fathers, veterinarians, in their various fields of work, pointing to the role of the Ministry of Education in promoting educational work and its support for excellence and success.
In turn, a number of honored students affirmed that excellence is a product of work, will, and cooperation of parents, teachers and students, noting that this honor expresses their interest in them and constitutes an incentive to make more efforts during the upcoming academic stages.
The honoring was attended by the Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch in Damascus, Husam al-Samman, the head of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Ali al-Abbas, Dr. Wissam al-Nasrallah, head of the Workers and Peasants’ Office in Damascus, Suleiman Younes, director of Damascus Education, and a number of veterinarians.
