(ANSA) - NEW YORK, DEC 15 - The administration of Joe Biden has published about 1,500 pages of documents hitherto remained secret on the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy in 1963, papers that historians hope will shed light on the death of the former US president.

And some of these brush up on the alleged Soviet lead, starting with some details of the meeting between the killer Lee Harvey Oswald and a KGB agent. About 10 thousand pages have been requested by Congress to decree as early as 1992. The next deadline set by Biden is 15 December. 2022, when the remaining documents will be subjected to a rigorous review and then published.
