As the sportswear distributor based in Schwabmünchen (south of Augsburg) announced, several items had to be taken out of sale due to incorrect sun protection labeling.

This includes sportswear designed for summer as well as for the winter season 2021.

"Unfortunately, during the quality control of our range of goods, we found that some of the Schöffel collections 'Summer 2021' and 'Winter 2021' are marked with an incorrect sun protection value," explains Schöffel Sportbekleidung GmbH in a message posted on the company's website is to be read.

For the affected outdoor products, "the specified UV values ​​are not reliable".

The reason for the Schöffel recall go back "to measurement errors by an internationally renowned laboratory service provider".
