WHO approves the Indian Covovax vaccine in an emergency

(ANSA) - GENEVA, DECEMBER 17 - The World Health Organization has announced that it has approved the emergency approval of the Indian anti-Covid vaccine Covovax.

This vaccine "is manufactured by the Serum Institute of India under license from Novovax and is part of the portfolio of Covax," the international vaccine distribution system, "which will help strengthen efforts to vaccinate more people in low-income countries."
