(ANSA) - BOLZANO, DECEMBER 18 - From Monday, December 20, only those who have already received the third dose of the anti Covid vaccine will be able to enter Austria without restrictions. People who have been vaccinated (who have not yet received the third dose) or cured will need to have a PCR negative swab no older than 72 hours. For the non-immunized, instead, a ten-day quarantine is triggered. The isolation can be interrupted after five days with a negative PCR. This was announced by Health Minister Wolfgang Mueckstein. The measure does not apply to children up to 12 years of age, pregnant women and people who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons.
For cross-border commuters, on the other hand, "3-G" (cured, vaccinated or tested) is sufficient. "Only then can we curb the spread of Omicron," Mueckstein said.(HANDLE).
