(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 18 - That of fines in Italy is a real '' jungle '': they are 'detached' only by excess of 2.5 million a year for an estimated total collection of 3 billion.
Few municipalities, however, that report the penalties and especially of this figure only a little more than half (56%) is actually collected.
This is the picture that emerges from the investigation carried out by the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the protection of consumers and users led by Simone Baldelli who also announces a real close on the autovelox.
