While the Israeli government is preparing to impose restrictions following fears of a fifth Corona wave, it is now clear that the Omicron variant is not only more contagious than the previous ones - but also has various symptoms that need to be recognized.
Doctors from South Africa, who are dealing with the new strain more vigorously, point out that one of the significant and special new symptoms of omicron is significant night sweats, to the point of wetting clothes and where a person sleeps.
Beyond that, other symptoms of the new virus are a sore throat or a feeling of a scratch in the throat, extreme fatigue, dry cough and mild muscle aches.
However, according to reports from South Africa, these symptoms are milder in those vaccinated against the virus.

These signs are important for detection because it turns out that currently some of the infected with Omicron will not be detected in the antigen tests available on the market.
Also, the reports indicate a very abnormal rate of infection of the omicron, even in relation to the delta virus.
