(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 29 - The EU continues to "strictly monitor the situation, in particular with regard to the proportionality" of the measures and when the data on Omicronsaranno complete "it expects the measures taken by the member countries to converge again".
This is what a spokesman for the EU Commission explained to ANSA after Finland imposed a ban on entry to non-vaccinated foreigners.
"It is important that there is coordination on the measures. Our objectives remain to protect health, facilitate free and safe circulation and ensure the functioning of the internal market", explains the EU.
