About 48,000 verified were found only by the institutional tests • The number of patients in critical condition new today - the highest since the beginning of September • About 6,700 medical staff members are in isolation

About 0.5% of the Israeli population was diagnosed with corona in the last day.

This is according to a report by the Research and Knowledge Center of the Intelligence Division published tonight (Thursday). According to the report, in the last week almost 260,000 people were diagnosed - 8.2% of the population.

Remember, these are only institutional tests (PCR + antigen) and not home tests, so the actual number is of course much higher.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, which are updated at 17:52, 48,282 people were diagnosed yesterday.

The rate of positive tests stands at 11.99% with a total of 402,771 tests performed to diagnose the virus.

The number of hard patients stands at 287. The number of new hard patients today stands at 89 - the most in a day since September 1st.

The coefficient of adhesion (R) decreased slightly compared to yesterday and stands at 1.91 compared to 2.02.

The death toll from the outbreak in Israel is 8,293.

Two patients died yesterday and at midnight by the time of the update at the Ministry of Health one person had died.

A total of 27 people have died in the past week.

Back to the AMN report, there is another increase in the rate of verified among the recovering, especially in the group of veteran recovering (more than six months ago).

Due to the fear of the burden on the hospitals, the number of medical personnel in isolation continues to rise and stands at 6,722 (of which 923 doctors).

AMN researchers warn that in combination with winter illness (particularly flu) that caused pre-wave loads, and the continuing rise in corona hospitalization, the health care system is suffering from loads that make it difficult to continue functioning properly.
