(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, JAN 28 - "Russia is continuing to amass military units" on the border with Ukraine but also in Belarus, "we are working best for a diplomatic solution but we are prepared for the worst".
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg speaking at an Atlantic Council event and reiterating how the Alliance is ready to "deploy its forces quickly".
Furthermore, Stoltenberg stressed, "the Ukrainian army is much better equipped and trained than in 2014 for the defense of the territory".
