An aggressive cigarillo smoker brought an ICE train to a stop in East Hesse.
A 65-year-old smoked in a compartment on Thursday and harassed passengers, the federal police in Kassel said.
According to the information, he ignored the request of the railway staff not to smoke anymore.
The ICE then stopped unscheduled in Flieden in the Fulda district.
Man is said to have kicked the police officer
When federal police officers entered the train, the 65-year-old kicked and pushed them.
According to the information, two officers suffered bruises and abrasions, and the glasses of a federal police officer broke.
After the emergency services had brought the man off the train, the ICE was able to continue its journey with a delay of around 30 minutes.
