Unknown burglars got into the Berlin district office in Reinickendorf during the night and blew open a safe.
According to the police, the crime happened in the early hours of the morning, and the safe contained money.
The officials did not provide any information about the amount of loot with which the perpetrators escaped.
The burglars entered the building through a window and tampered with the safe.
The district office is closed this Monday.
Citizens should be informed about alternatives, reported the broadcaster RBB, citing the authorities.
The investigation into the case is ongoing, the criminal police secured traces in the building.
